Wells Road | Healing
Set within open fields and peaceful country lanes in Healing, Grimsby, this £1.25 million development delivered two bespoke luxury homes for a private client.
Highthorne was carefully designed to meet the needs of the client and his disabled wife, incorporating level access throughout along with a passenger lift to ensure comfortable and accessible living. The property also features 360sqm of accommodation along with a wood panelled entrance hall, bespoke kitchen island and log burning stoves. A standout feature of Highthorne is the striking corner bifold doors, achieved without a corner post despite being told this couldn’t be done — a challenge the team successfully overcame by designing a cantilever truss system to create a seamless opening.
Alongside this, Suncroft was developed as a high-specification home for the open market, offering 244sqm of living space on a generous 0.75-acre plot. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom property includes a stunning open-plan Haagensen kitchen and utility space, designed to create a bright and sociable heart to the home. Both properties were built with sustainability in mind, utilising air source heat pump systems throughout.
Extensive groundwork and infrastructure works formed a key part of the project, including contaminated land remediation and flood risk mitigation measures across the site, helping transform a challenging rural plot into two exceptional countryside homes.
